An old Silver Lake house needed to accommodate modern life without losing its bones or its flavor. We kept the scale human, the proportions comfortable, and the furniture at ease with the house. There was no need for a grand gesture when the rooms already felt good to be in. There was also a very cute dog. We can take no credit for that.
